DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your Epic Vietnam Tours guide and escorted to your hotel via private transfer. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or begin your own exploration of the city.

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, sits along the banks of the Red River and is one of the world’s oldest cities. Here, you’ll discover a blend of well-preserved colonial architecture, ancient Buddhist pagodas, and unique museums. The best way to experience the charm of its Old Quarter is by foot, wandering through narrow streets filled with history. This French-colonial city is also famous for its delectable cuisine, vibrant nightlife, and plenty of opportunities for souvenir shopping.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR

Today, immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Vietnam’s capital with a full-day tour of Hanoi's iconic landmarks.
Start your journey at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you’ll learn about the life and legacy of the revered leader.
Next, visit Ho Chi Minh's traditional house-on-stilts and the unique One Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of Hanoi's architectural ingenuity.
Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, renowned for its serene courtyards and historical significance.

DAY 3: HANOI - HOANG SU PHI

Hanoi to Hoang Su Phi – Journey to the Red Yao Village

At 8:00 AM, your private tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi to begin the journey. The drive to Thong Nguyen commune in Hoang Su Phi takes approximately 7 hours, with scenic stops along the way for photo opportunities and a lunch break.

Upon arrival in Thong Nguyen, you'll check into a homestay in a Red Yao ethnic village, where you'll experience the warmth and hospitality of the local community. Take some time to refresh and relax before enjoying a delicious homemade dinner prepared by your host family.

DAY 4: HOANG SU PHI TREKKING

Embark on a full-day trek from Thong Nguyen Commune to Nam Son Commune. The journey offers breathtaking views of stunning terraced rice fields and picturesque landscapes.

The trek is moderate, with a few small challenges along the way, making it an adventurous and rewarding experience. Expect to spend about 5 to 6 hours on foot.

A picnic lunch will be prepared for you at a local house en route, giving you a chance to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

In the evening, arrive at another local house where a hearty dinner awaits.

Enjoy a traditional meal and a cozy overnight stay in this peaceful setting.

DAY 5 HOANG SU PHI - DONG VAN

Breakfast:Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your homestay.
Check-out and Departure:After breakfast, check out of your homestay and set off on your scenic drive to the Karst Geo-Park.
Scenic Drive to Ha Giang:As you ascend into the highlands of Ha Giang, enjoy breathtaking photo opportunities along the way, capturing the beauty of Vietnam's rugged northern landscapes.
:Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, savoring regional specialties before continuing your journey.
Dramatic Scenery:In the afternoon, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic, featuring towering mountain passes and majestic peaks.Quan Ba Pass:Make a stop at Quan Ba Pass, where you can take a short hike to a viewpoint. Here, admire the striking Quan Ba Fairy Mountains, a breathtaking sight.
Village Walks:Continue your journey with leisurely walks through Pho Cao village, home to the Hmong ethnic group, and Pho Bang village, where the Han (Chinese) people reside.

DAY 6: DONG VAN KARST GEOPARK TREKKING - MEO VAC

Breakfast:Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your accommodation.

Trek Through Karst Geopark:After breakfast, embark on a scenic morning trek through the stunning Karst Geopark. This 13 km trek will last over 3 hours, leading you through magnificent gray limestone mountains.
Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to observe breathtaking landscapes and immerse yourself in the daily life of the H'mong people, learning about their rich cultural heritage.
At the end of the trek, arrive at the H'mong King Palace, an intriguing historical and cultural site. Take your time to explore this remarkable construction and its significance in the region’s history.
:Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring traditional dishes and local flavors.
After lunch, head to the Lung Cu Flag Tower, which marks the northernmost point of Vietnam.
A short walk to the tower will reward you with incredible panoramic views of the surrounding area, providing a perfect opportunity for photos.
After visiting the tower, your private vehicle will take you to Meo Vac town.
Arrive at Meo Vac town and check in to your hotel for a restful night.

DAY 7: MEO VAC - BA BE NATIONAL PARK

Departure from Meo Vac:Bid farewell to the enchanting highlands of Meo Vac as we embark on a scenic descent toward Ba Be National Park.
Scenic Drive:The drive will take approximately 7 hours, allowing you to witness the changing landscapes.
Leave behind the rugged, towering peaks of Ha Giang, as the mountains and forests give way to a lush, vibrant environment.
Lunch Stop:Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch at a local roadside restaurant to savor the region’s flavors.
We’ll arrive in Ba Be National Park in the late afternoon.
Check in to your accommodation and take time to unwind amidst the serene natural surroundings.
Leisure Time:The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and recharge.

DAY 8: BA BE NATIONAL PARK

Ba Be Lake Boat Trip

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your accommodation.
Boat Trip on Ba Be Lake:8:30 AM: Embark on an unforgettable boat trip on the mesmerizing Ba Be Lake.
Glide across the emerald-green waters, surrounded by breathtaking views of rainforest-clad limestone mountains, showcasing the beauty of Ba Be National Park.
Continue upstream along the serene Nang River, leading to the famous Puong Cave (Bat Cave), known for its impressive rock formations and thriving bat population.
Disembark and Lunch:Conclude your boat trip in the same quay you started and have lunch in the village. in the afternoon you will visit Hua Ma cave, a very nice cave with a lots of beautifull stalactites and stalacmites then we will come back to our homstay for overnight.

DAY 9: BA BE NATINAL PARK - HANOI

Local Breakfast:Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your accommodation, enjoying the flavors of the local cuisine.
Departure:Set off for the scenic drive back to Hanoi. The journey covers approximately 285 km and will take around 7 hours.
Lunch Stop:Along the way, we’ll stop at a local restaurant for lunch, giving you a chance to rest and recharge before continuing your journey.
Arrival in Hanoi:We expect to arrive in Hanoi late in the afternoon. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to settle in and relax.
Evening at Leisure: Take the evening to relax and recharge, preparing for your exciting journey to Halong Bay the next day.

DAY 10: HANOI - HALONG BAY

Halong Bay Overnight Cruise

Overview:Halong Bay, located in northeast Vietnam, is renowned for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1994, it’s a must-visit destination, especially with an overnight stay on a traditional wooden junk boat.

Transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay Pier: Begin your day with a scenic drive from Hanoi to the pier, where your adventure awaits.

Around Noon:

Board Your Boat: Upon arrival, board your boat and embark on a memorable cruise through Halong Bay.

Enjoy Lunch: Delight in a delicious lunch served on board as you set sail through the bay’s stunning landscape.

DAY 11: HALONG BAY - HANOI

Halong Bay Cruise – Morning Activities and Return to Hanoi

Start Your Day: Begin your day early with some fresh air on the open deck. If you’d like, join a Tai Chi class for gentle morning exercise, or you can relax in your cabin until breakfast.

Exploration: After breakfast, the crew will raise the anchor and resume cruising to explore more of Halong Bay's stunning scenery. A visit to a large limestone cave is on the agenda before the boat gradually heads back to the pier.

Brunch Onboard: Enjoy an early lunch (brunch) on board as you continue to take in the picturesque views of the bay.

Return to Hanoi: Around noon, disembark from the boat and take the afternoon drive back to Hanoi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure for relaxation or last-minute shopping in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

DAY 12: DEPARTURE FROM HANOI

Final Day in Hanoi: Today marks the end of our incredible journey together. Depending on your departure flight time, you may either have a busy morning preparing for your departure or some leisure time to relax and perhaps do some last-minute shopping.
