DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1 : HANOI ARRIVAL
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you will be greeted by your guide and a private driver who will transfer you to your hotel in the city center. Take the rest of the day to relax and settle in, get familiar with the neighborhood, and rest up for the exciting days ahead. If you feel up for it, take a stroll around the nearby streets and soak up the local atmosphere. Alternatively, you could unwind at the hotel and make use of its amenities.
In the evening, you could explore Hanoi's bustling culinary scene and try out some of the city's famous street food. Take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of the city, and witness the lively night scene before retiring to your hotel for a good night's sleep.
DAY 2 : HANOI CITY TOUR
After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel at 8:00 AM to start your day of exploring the highlights of Hanoi. You will begin by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Uncle Ho's house on stilts to learn about the life and legacy of Vietnam's beloved leader. Next, you will visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique temple built on a single stone pillar, and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university.
After the lunch break, you will head to the Museum of Ethnology to gain insight into the diverse cultures and traditions of Vietnam's many ethnic groups. Next, you will take a cyclo ride through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter to soak up the atmosphere and experience local life.

DAY 3 : HANOI- NINH BINH
Start your day by departing from Hanoi at 8:00 AM. The drive takes 2.5 hours to Ninh Binh, where your adventure awaits. Upon arrival, embark on a sampan boat and explore the mesmerizing limestone caves of Trang An. The tunnel-like caves will take you on a magical journey through the natural wonders.
Afterward, treat yourself to a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of the region. In the afternoon, hop on a bicycle and meander along the peaceful country back roads. Immerse yourself in the serene countryside as you pedal through picturesque landscapes.

DAY 5 : PU LUONG TREKKING KHO MUONG
After breakfast, lace up your hiking boots and prepare for an adventurous trek through the stunning landscapes of Pu Luong. As you set out, enjoy the crisp morning air and the scenic beauty surrounding you. The trail will lead you through lush rice terraces, dense forests, and picturesque mountain views, showcasing the natural wonders of this pristine area.As you trek, take breaks to appreciate the breathtaking views and snap photos of the vibrant greenery and terraced fields. Your guide will share insights about the local flora and fauna, as well as the agricultural practices of the region. You may also encounter local farmers tending to their crops, providing a glimpse into daily life in this rural area.Lunch: Picnic in Nature
After a few hours of trekking, stop for a well-deserved lunch amidst nature. Enjoy a picnic-style meal, perhaps featuring local specialties, while taking in the serene surroundings. This break will recharge your energy for the remainder of the trek.Continue your trek toward Kho Muong Village, an off-the-beaten-path destination known for its authenticity and charm. DAY 6 :KHO MUONG - SON TAY
As usual, breakfast will be served at your accommodation. After check-out, prepare for another exciting trek through the stunning landscapes of Pu Luong. Today’s trek will lead us to the hill tribe village of Kho Muong, where you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the local community. You’ll engage with the residents, learning about their daily life, traditions, and customs.
The journey continues as we trek towards Pho Doan, with breathtaking views of lush rice terraces and towering evergreen mountains along the way, offering the perfect backdrop for photos and memories.
After completing the trek, we’ll enjoy a hearty lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll board the car and continue our journey to Son Tay, where we’ll spend the night, resting and preparing for the next adventure.
DAY 7 : SON TAY - BA BE
We will pick you up from your hotel at 07:30 AM and head northeast towards Ba Be National Park. Our route will take us through mountains and tea plantations to Ba Be Lake, an amazing green lake nestled in the heart of a lush forest. Lunch will be enjoyed in a local restaurant on the way.
Upon arrival, you’ll visit the Tay village of Pac Ngoi, famous for its charming stilt houses and welcoming Tay people, who sustain themselves through fishing in the beautiful Ba Be lakes and farming. Here, you’ll stay in a cozy homestay with a local family and experience their warm hospitality.
In the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore the stunning area, including a visit to Hua Ma Cave, known for its thousands of intricate stalactites and columns. You may also choose to walk around Pac Ngoi village or simply relax, soaking in the serene beauty of the surroundings.
DAY 8 : BA BE - NUI THUNG
After breakfast at the homestay, you'll check out and embark on an enchanting boat trip around the serene Ba Be Lake. As the boat glides through the tranquil waters, you can sit back, relax, and soak in the natural beauty around you. If you're feeling adventurous, take a refreshing dip in the cool, crystal-clear lake!
As you continue your journey down the peaceful Nang River, you’ll be surrounded by majestic karst formations, adorned with patches of wild vegetation. Keep an eye out for wildlife—colorful butterflies fluttering through the air and the soft songs of birds adding to the serenity of the landscape.
The boat will take you to Puong Cave, where you’ll explore stunning stalactites and stalagmites, shaped by the river's steady erosion over the ages. Don’t miss the impressive bat colony that calls this cave home, with thousands of bats nestled in the dark crevices.
After this delightful exploration, you’ll enjoy a satisfying lunch before heading by car to your next destination: Cao Bang or Nui Thung, known as "Angel Eye Mountain," where you'll spend the night surrounded by the beauty of northern Vietnam.
DAY 9 : NUI THUNG TREKKING - BAN GIOC
After breakfast, your activities will depend on the season, allowing you to tailor the experience. In the dry season (winter), you can enjoy a scenic hike through the picturesque valley surrounding Nui Thung Mountain, also known as Angel Eye Mountain for the unique circular opening at its summit. The hike will take you through lush green landscapes, eventually leading to the top, where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views.
In the rainy season (summer), when the valley becomes a shimmering lake, you can swim in the refreshing waters or float gently across the lake on a bamboo raft, enjoying the serene atmosphere and breathtaking surroundings.
After this peaceful morning, you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant. In the early afternoon, you'll continue your adventure with a trip to the magnificent Ban Gioc Waterfall, a spectacular natural wonder along the Vietnam-China border, where the rest of your day will be spent marveling at its beauty. As you approach, prepare to be awestruck by its thundering cascades and stunning scenery.
Next, you’ll explore the nearby Nguom Ngao Cave, a captivating underground world filled with intricate stalactites and stalagmites that have been shaped by nature over millennia. After taking in this fascinating natural marvel, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local eatery, savoring the flavors of the region.
As the day comes to a close, you’ll hike to Phat Tich Pagoda, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Ban Gioc Waterfall and catch a stunning sunset over the dramatic landscape. Afterward, you’ll descend back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

DAY 10 : BAN GIOC - BAC SON

Upon arrival at Quynh Son Village, home to the ethnic Tay people, you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch served in a charming stilt house. In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk around the village to experience the local culture and way of life before embarking on a hike up the telephone-station mountain. From the summit, you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of Bac Son Valley, a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts to capture the lush green fields and rolling hills below.
In the evening, you’ll return to the homestay for dinner and a relaxed evening of chatting with the host, gaining deeper insights into the traditions and customs of the Tay people.

DAY 11 : BAC SON - DONG LAM
After a traditional breakfast, you’ll embark on a peaceful 3.5-hour hike along a rural back road, offering a unique opportunity to observe local farming up close. As you walk, you’ll enjoy the serene atmosphere, where the natural harmony of mountains, forests, and daily village life creates a tranquil experience.
At the end of the hike, you’ll be picked up by private transport and taken back to the family for a well-deserved lunch. Afterward, you’ll continue your journey to Dong Lam, where you’ll stay with another warm and welcoming Vietnamese family. The evening will be spent enjoying a home-cooked dinner with your host family, sharing stories and deepening your understanding of local culture.

DAY 12: DONG LAM - HANOI
Begin the day with a delightful breakfast at the homestay as you prepare for a relaxed morning of exploring. You’ll either take a peaceful walk or enjoy a bike ride around Dong Lam (biking is not available during the flood season). The scenic surroundings of lush landscapes and village life will make for a perfect morning activity.
Afterward, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the cozy homestay, savoring the flavors of local cuisine one last time before departure. In the afternoon, you’ll board the car for the return journey to Hanoi. Upon arrival, check in to your comfortable hotel where you can unwind and relax, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences from your mountain adventure.
The evening is free for you to explore or simply rest and rejuvenate.
DAY 13 : HANOI FREE DAY
Today, enjoy a leisurely day of rest and relaxation in Hanoi after your long trip. Take it easy, explore the city at your own pace, or simply unwind and refresh in preparation for the next leg of your journey. You can stroll around the charming streets, visit a café, or indulge in some light shopping, soaking in the local atmosphere without any rush.
DAY 14 : HANOI - HA LONG
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your accommodation before checking out. At 8:30 a.m., we will set off on a scenic drive to the stunning Halong Bay, which takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Upon arrival, embark on a deluxe boat recommended by us based on your preferred style, and follow its schedule to explore the world-famous bay in the afternoon. While cruising, you can take in the breathtaking scenery of the bay and participate in some exciting activities off the boat, such as swimming or hiking to visit a limestone cave.
In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner on the boat before spending the night onboard. This is the perfect opportunity to relax and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Halong Bay.
DAY 15 : HA LONG - HANOI
Have a delightful breakfast served onboard before you continue to cruise to other areas of the bay. Admire the stunning limestone towering islands of the green bay as the boat gently moves through the calm waters.
As the morning passes, enjoy more cruising before an early lunch is served onboard. On the way back to the pier, take in the picturesque scenery and cherish the last moments of your trip to Halong Bay.
At 11:45 a.m., disembark from the boat and get picked up for your journey back to Hanoi. After a scenic drive, arrive at your accommodation in Hanoi, bringing an end to your unforgettable tour.
DAY 16 : HANOI - ( AIRPORT )
Today marks the end of our incredible journey together. Depending on your departure flight time, you may have a busy morning preparing for your departure or have some leisure time to relax and perhaps do some last-minute shopping.
