DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1 : WELCOME TO HANOI

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and a private driver, who will transfer you to your hotel in the city center. Take the rest of the day to relax and settle in, getting familiar with your surroundings and preparing for the exciting days ahead.

If you feel energetic, you can take a stroll around the nearby streets, immersing yourself in the local atmosphere and exploring the area. Alternatively, you can unwind at the hotel, taking advantage of its amenities for a relaxing afternoon.

In the evening, consider exploring Hanoi’s bustling culinary scene, where you can indulge in the city’s famous street food. For a peaceful end to the day, take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of the city, and enjoy the vibrant night scene before heading back to your hotel for a restful night.

DAY 2: HIGHLIGHTS OF HANOI

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel at 8:00 am to start your day of exploring the highlights of Hanoi. You will begin by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Uncle Ho’s house on stilts, where you can learn about the life and legacy of Vietnam’s beloved leader. Next, you will visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique temple built on a single stone pillar, followed by a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university and an iconic site of Hanoi.

After a lunch break, you will head to the Museum of Ethnology to gain insight into the diverse cultures and traditions of Vietnam's many ethnic groups. Following this, enjoy a unique experience as you take a cyclo ride through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, soaking up the vibrant atmosphere and observing daily life in Hanoi.

The last stop of the day will be at Hoan Kiem Lake, where you will visit Ngoc Son Temple and hear the legend of the lake and its cultural significance to the people of Hanoi. To end the day on a high note, you will attend a traditional water puppet show, an entertaining art form that showcases Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.

After the show, your guide will either escort you back to the hotel or give you the option to continue exploring the city on your own.

DAY 3: HANOI - NINH BINH

In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and take you on a scenic drive to Ninh Binh. Your first stop will be Hoa Lu, the ancient capital city of the Dinh Dynasty, where you can explore the fascinating history and architecture of this historical site.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you will embark on an unforgettable boat trip to visit Trang An Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its stunning natural beauty. DAY 5: HANOI - BAN GIOC WATERFALL

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic journey with your personal tour guide and driver to Lang Son, a border city. Arrive around noon and visit Tam Thanh Pagoda Cave and Dong Dang Mau Temple, then enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, continue the trip to Ban Gioc, passing many picturesque landscapes nestled in the Northeast of Vietnam. DAY 6: EXPLORING CAO BANG

DAY 7: CAO BANG - BA BE LAKE

Following breakfast, you'll be chauffeured to Ba Bể. Along the way, we'll stop at some beautiful spots for photos. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant and arrive at Ba Bể National Park in the afternoon. After lunch, we'll take a boat trip to visit the Nang River and explore Puong Cave, home to thousands of bats. We'll then reach Dau Dang Waterfall. Continuing our boat trip, we'll head to Ba Bể Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Vietnam, often called Halong Bay on land. In the late afternoon, we’ll get back in the car and head to our hotel or homestay for the night. Overnight in Ba Bể.

DAY 8: BA BE LAKE - HANOI

Following breakfast, check out of your accommodation and hop into your private car. Journey along the lakeshore and through a picturesque rural valley to explore Hua Ma Cave, renowned as one of the stunning limestone caves in northern Vietnam. DAY 9: HANOI EASY DAY

DAY 12: HIGHLIGHTS OF HOI AN

On this day, you will be picked up after breakfast and head to the boat dock for a unique experience in a fishing village. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see and learn about the life of the fishing community and take a short ride in a basket boat. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely cycle through the countryside along quiet roads lined with fields of rice, coconut, and corn.

Returning to Hoi An town, you'll spend the afternoon with your local guide on a delightful excursion. Discover the charm of this well-preserved trading port as you explore its historic buildings and cultural exchanges. Marvel at the ancient Cam Pho communal house and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge.

Immerse yourself in the authentic Quan Thang ancient house and the vibrant Fujian Assembly Hall. Visit the bustling central market, where you’ll witness the daily life of locals and find an array of delicious food.

DAY 13: MY SON HOLLYLAND

In the afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel in Hoi An and transferred to the airport in Da Nang for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be met by a driver and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace. You can relax at your hotel or consider taking an optional motorbike tour in the evening to experience the vibrant nightlife and bustling streets of this dynamic city.

DAY 15: SAIGON TOUR & CU CHI TUNNELS

Depart early in the morning to beat the crowds and head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located about 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City. These tunnels were used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War and stand as a testament to the resilience and resourcefulness of the Vietnamese people. Explore the tunnels and learn about the history of the war and the crucial role these tunnels played in the conflict.

After your visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch.

DAY 17: MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH CITY

Start your day early at 6:30 AM with a boat trip to the Cai Rang floating market. While the market may not be as busy as it once was, it still offers a unique and interesting experience. After exploring the market, we'll take a long cruise to Phong Dien, followed by a walk on a quiet country road to get a closer look at local life in the area.

Next, we'll hop in our van and head to Vinh Long to visit the ancient Phu Ly Pagoda. Built in 1672, this Khmer pagoda is a stunning blend of Indian, Thai, and Cambodian architecture. After our visit, we'll continue our journey through the picturesque rice fields of Ben Luc before returning to Ho Chi Minh City late in the afternoon. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

DAY 18: DEPARTURE FROM HCMC
