DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1 : HANOI - MAI CHAU
Depart from Hanoi for a scenic drive to Hoa Binh Province, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy picturesque rural landscapes and capture stunning photo opportunities along the way.
Arrive at Lac Village in the Mai Chau Valley. Indulge in a delicious Vietnamese lunch served at a traditional local stilt house, experiencing the unique flavors of the region.
After lunch, take a leisurely walk around the village to immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Depart for Mai Hich, where you will continue your adventure. After a scenic drive, disembark and follow a dirt motorcycle track that descends into the valley, leading you to your first homestay destination.
Arrive at your homestay, where you can refresh and relax before dinner.
Enjoy a warm dinner hosted by a local Thai minority family, experiencing traditional hospitality and home-cooked cuisine.
DAY 2 : MAI CHAU -PU LUONG - HANOI
Rise early to the sounds of nature, as roosters, pigs, and other domestic animals might serve as your natural alarm clock. After breakfast with your host family, bid them farewell and prepare for the day's journey.
Begin your return trip to Hanoi, but first, enjoy a scenic detour to explore the beautiful villages of Pu Luong. Wander through the valley, where the river winds through a tight, jungle-covered ravine before opening up to reveal breathtaking terraced rice paddies in the neighboring community.
Take a break at a local house, where you’ll be treated to a hearty surrounded by the lush greenery of the region.
After your lunch break, get back on the road and continue the journey back to Hanoi. Arrive back in Hanoi, marking the end of your tour filled with stunning landscapes and cultural experiences
