DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: HANOI - HOA BINH RESERVOIR - MAI CHAU
Kick off your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi and embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Hoa Binh Province.
Arrive at Giang Mo Village, home to the Muong ethnic minority. Take a leisurely stroll through the village, immersing yourself in the local culture and traditions.
Enjoy a delicious local lunch served at a villager's home. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with the locals and learn more about their way of life.
After lunch, transfer to a boat wharf and board a motorized boat for a 2-hour cruise. Explore one of the most beautiful parts of the reservoir, taking in the stunning scenery and tranquil atmosphere.
Upon arriving at Ben Sang, you will be picked up and transferred to Mai Chau Valley via private transport.
Check in to your hotel and take some time to relax after your journey. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and unwind for the night.

If you prefer a more immersive experience, you might choose to spend the night at a home-stay in a Thai ethnic minority village instead of a hotel room. Let your travel consultant know your preference during the arrangement stage.
DAY 2: MAI CHAU VALLEY - NINH BINH
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your accommodation to fuel up for the day's adventures.With your tour guide, set off for a 3-hour trek to explore the stunning surroundings. You'll have the opportunity to visit local villages, rice paddies, and gardens. If you prefer, you can opt for a bicycle tour with a shorter duration; just let your travel consultant know at the booking time for arrangements. Along the trek, immerse yourself in local life, learn about their agriculture, and admire beautiful handicrafts.
Enjoy a delicious lunch served at noon, replenishing your energy for the afternoon.
After lunch, begin your drive to Ninh Binh Province, famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs. The drive will take approximately 4 hours, so sit back and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
Arrive at your hotel in Ninh Binh around 5:30 PM. Check in and take some time to rest before dinner, soaking in the beautiful surroundings and preparing for more adventures ahead.
DAY 3: NINH BINH - HANOI
Enjoy a delicious breakfast served at your hotel to start the day right. 8:30 AM: Transfer to Tam Coc
After breakfast, move to the Tam Coc boat operation place where you'll embark on a 2-hour sampan boat ride. Glide along the tranquil waters as you take in the stunning scenery, navigating through tunnel-like caves. This area, often referred to as the “Inland Halong Bay,” is famous for its breathtaking karst formations.
After your boat ride, enjoy an easy walk among the limestone mountains to visit Thai Vi Temple, a site dedicated to a Vietnamese heroic dynasty, where you can soak in the rich history and culture of the region.
Savor a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, replenishing your energy for the afternoon activities.
Set off on a 1.5-hour bicycle ride along the back roads, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of towering karsts, tranquil ponds, lush rice paddies, and rural villages. Feel free to make as many stops as you want to take photographs and fully enjoy the picturesque landscapes.
Next, visit Bich Dong Pagoda, an important religious site for the locals. Explore the pagoda and appreciate its serene setting and intricate architecture.
After a full day of exploration, get back on your vehicle for the drive back to Hanoi.
Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi, marking the end of your memorable tour.
