DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1 : HANOI - SAPA
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, embark on a comfortable drive to the breathtaking hills of Sapa. As you journey through the northern countryside, soak in the picturesque views of lush mountains that rise and fall like waves. The final approach to Sapa reveals spectacular sights of rice terraces cascading down the mountain slopes, which serve as the primary source of livelihood for ethnic villages in the region.
Upon arrival, check into your charming accommodation featuring bungalows with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Cultural Expedition in Muong Hoa Valley In the afternoon, set out on a cultural expedition by hiking through the scenic Muong Hoa Valley. Accompanied by your guide, traverse the countryside on trails winding between the golden rice terraces. Experience the rich culture and traditions of the Hmong people by visiting one of their families. This immersive experience will leave you with a deeper appreciation for rural Vietnam and its vibrant heritage.
DAY 2 : SAPA - LONG TREKKING
08:00 AM: Breakfast and Trekking to Suoi Ho .After breakfast at your hotel, we begin the day with a 3km trek through breathtaking landscapes to the village of Suoi Ho, home to the Hmong minority. Enjoy stunning views of endless rice terraces along the way and keep an eye out for local animals used by the villagers.
Continuing on to Matra village, you'll encounter the impressive ruins of a church that dates back to the French occupation in the early 1900s. Take a moment to explore this intriguing site and capture some photos of the historical architecture.
Next, we’ll trek to Ta Phin village, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to meet both the Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities. The Red Dao are renowned for their expertise in herbal medicine and their use of local plants to treat various illnesses.
Your guide will introduce you to some Red Dao women, who can share their knowledge about traditional remedies. If you’re interested, a Red Dao herbal medicine bath can be arranged for you to experience this local practice firsthand.
After your enriching day, transport will be provided to take you back to Sapa.
DAY 3 : SAPA - HANOI
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss various options with your tour guide to find the most suitable activities for you. Choices include:
Conquering Fansipan: Take on the challenge of climbing the highest peak in Indochina.
Climbing Ham Rong Mountain: Enjoy stunning views and diverse flora and fauna.
Exploring Sapa Town: Stroll around town or visit the vibrant Sapa market at your own pace.
Around noon, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
After lunch, you'll get in the car for your journey back to Hanoi, concluding your memorable time in Sapa.
