DAY 2: HOANG SU PHI TREK

After breakfast with your gracious host family, your adventure begins with a full day of trekking through the majestic Hoang Su Phi mountains, starting in the morning. This region is famous for its breathtaking rice terraces, recognized as a national heritage site. As you explore these enchanting landscapes, you'll also experience the diverse cultures of the local hill tribes, including the Black Yao, known for their long tunics, the Red Yao, and the Tay ethnic group.
Around midday, you'll enjoy a simple yet authentic lunch, provided by a local family along the trekking route. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at another welcoming homestay, where you'll check in and relax for the night, surrounded by the peaceful mountain scenery.
DAY 3: HOANG SU PHI - DU GIA

In the afternoon, the scenery becomes even more breathtaking as you pass through towering mountains and high passes. Notable photo stops include the Quan Ba Pass and the viewpoint overlooking Tam Son town and the iconic Twin Mountains, accessible after a short climb.
The journey continues to Du Gia in Yen Minh district, where you'll stay overnight in a local house of the Tay ethnic minority. Dinner will be served at the traditional stilt-house, where you’ll spend a peaceful night amidst the natural beauty of the region.
DAY 4: DU GIA - MAU DUE - DONG VAN

In the afternoon, the drive takes you deeper into the heart of the Karst Geo-park, with several stops for photography to capture the stunning landscapes. You'll also visit Pho Bang ancient town, home to the Han (Chinese) minority, and explore the historical Vuong Palace, also known as the H’mong King Palace.
If you arrive in Dong Van early enough, take a 1.5-hour hike up to the Cannon Fort for panoramic views over the valley and the township. The day concludes with a check-in at your hotel, where you will spend the night.
Note: If your visit falls on a Sunday or Wednesday, you can opt for a morning visit to the lively Mau Due Market instead of the countryside walk.

Upon arrival in the late afternoon, you'll check in to a cozy homestay hosted by the Tay people, where you can unwind and relax for the rest of the day. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in the warm hospitality of the local house. (If you prefer, accommodations at the National Park's guesthouse can also be arranged upon request—just let our travel specialist know at the time of booking.)
