DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport
Your tour guide and driver will greet you upon arrival at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. After check-in, you can relax or take a leisurely walk around the city center to get acquainted with your surroundings.

Explore nearby cafes, markets, or enjoy a Vietnamese dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY FULL-DAY CITY TOUR

Start your day with a visit to the War Remnants Museum to learn about Vietnam's history. Continue to the Reunification Palace, a key historical site, and the Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office, both of which reflect the city’s colonial-era architecture.
Savor traditional Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant.
Visit the bustling Chinatown (Cho Lon) area, with its vibrant Binh Tay Market and the historic Thien Hau Temple. End the day with shopping at Ben Thanh Market, where you can find local handicrafts, souvenirs, and street food.

DAY 3: CU CHI TUNNELS & CAO DAI TEMPLE

After breakfast, take a half-day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Explore the narrow passageways and learn about the innovative war strategies used here.
Lunch at a local restaurant featuring southern Vietnamese dishes.
In the afternoon, visit the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, home to the unique Cao Dai religion, a blend of Buddhism, Christianity, and Confucianism. Experience a colorful religious ceremony before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner at your leisure.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA

On this day, you will leave Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta, a region famous for its scenic beauty and traditional way of life. Your first stop is Ben Tre, a province renowned for its coconut groves and cottage industries. Enjoy a 2-hour drive through the countryside and soak in the stunning scenery of rural Vietnam.

Upon arrival in Ben Tre, you will embark on a motorboat ride along narrow canals, where you will have the chance to observe locals making traditional handicrafts like bricks and coconut candies. You can also take a ride on a motor cart or join a cycling tour to explore the lush coconut forests, rice fields, and vegetable gardens.

After lunch, continue your journey with a relaxing sampan boat ride, drifting along a small canal lined with nipa palm trees. You will arrive in Can Tho city, the capital of the Mekong Delta, late in the afternoon. Spend the night here and enjoy the city's unique blend of modern amenities and traditional culture.

DAY 5 : MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH CỈTY

Start your day early at 6:30 AM with a boat trip to the Cai Rang floating market. While the market may not be as busy as it once was, it still offers a unique and interesting experience. After exploring the market, we'll take a long cruise to Phong Dien, followed by a walk on a quiet country road to get a closer look at local life in the area.

Next, we'll hop in our van and head to Vinh Long to visit the ancient Phu Ly Pagoda. Built in 1672, this Khmer pagoda is a stunning blend of Indian, Thai, and Cambodian architecture. After our visit, we'll continue our journey through the picturesque rice fields of Ben Luc before returning to Ho Chi Minh City late in the afternoon. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

DAY 6 : 1/2 DAY HO CHI MINH FOODIE TOUR

In the morning you are free and easy walking around or shopping. Afternoon the tour guide will take you strolling through Ben Thanh Market and snack on local treats like banh beo (steamed rice cakes) or che (Vietnamese sweet soup). District 5 Food Adventure
Head to Cholon for a culinary exploration. Try street foods like banh cuon (steamed rice rolls) or hu tieu (southern-style noodle soup).

Vietnamese Coffee Break
Experience Vietnamese coffee culture with a glass of ca phe sua da (iced coffee with condensed milk) at a classic café like Cafe Vy.
For dinner, sample a variety of dishes like goi cuon (fresh spring rolls), bun thit nuong (grilled pork vermicelli), and banh xeo (Vietnamese pancake)

DAY 7 : HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE.
